With Ata we set out to create a mid-length Autumn and winter jacket which has a range of built-in performance and comfort details. Many of them hidden within the seams of jacket. Built on a mid-length block for a cleaner finish whilst still offering full upper body warmth and rain protection. Ata features a placket that rises and leans to one side to create a large throat wrap. Therefor days when a top button alone is enough to hold in heat and lockout rain. The hood contains a hidden elasticated headband meaning that when the hood is worn, the sides will tuck back and provide a cap type shape that will sweep back down into the back and raglan sleeve panels. The internal breast pocket is concealed, hidden between the main zip panel and the button placket. A military-grade paracord waist adjuster is concealed between the back panel and lining. Fastened on the inside waist of the jacket with zinc alloy cord locks.
Materials:
Materials are what we do best and are what make the jackets in our collection truly unique. We have used all the same heavy-duty fabrics that been developed specifically for our bags and luggage. Nobody else has tried making jackets from fabric as thick and heavy duty and the end result is a jacket that feels uniquely crisp and solid. Not satisfied to use some of the most durable performance fabrics ever used on the exterior of a jacket, we wanted to extend the same level of luxury to the interior. We have used an Italian Merino wool. After all, the broad range of synthetic winter jacket insulators available on the market, all attempt to mimic the breathable warmth and adaptive climate that wool achieves. This merino wool lining completes Ata’s external shell and adds an unrivalled level of comfort to the performance exterior.
