With everything we see on the blogs nowadays being about the outdoors, mountaineering and utility, its great to come across the real thing every so often.
We’ve happened across this video made by Dick Proenneke. Its super 8 footage from 1968 of a man that finally decides he wanted to rough it alone in the wild – Alaska no less.
For those of us that live in the city, this guy talks about the real thing; just him and his bag of equipment, for a whole year.
People talk of style as a result of function. Great to see it in action!
